A HIGH school teenager was tipped to become the next Usain Bolt – after running 9.98 seconds on 100 meters.

The 18-year-old sprinter Matthew Boling destroyed his rivals during a race in Houston Texas and recorded the incredible mark.

Given that the race is going in the wrong direction, it seems that officials have changed the game for favorable wind conditions.

But it seems to have worked too well.

Boling beat his rivals from one stripe to the other, coming out of the blocks quickly, before opening the stride to win an emphatic 0.3 second victory over his closest rival.
