Since AC Milan has virtually closed negotiations with Genoa for Piatek, Higuain is only confirming its membership in Chelsea. In fact, the agreement was reached several days ago between the Blues and Juventus.
Higuain will join Chelsea for a six-month loan agreement with a $ 36 million buy option, identical to that agreed by AC Milan last summer. Chelsea, however, will be forced to extend the player's loan for an additional season if the player and club reach certain goals in the second half of the season.
It is also expected that Chelsea will pay 9 million euros to Milan, the latter having paid 18 million euros for the loan for the full season last summer, which will now be halved.
