The Internet has been thrown into a pool of laughter since the photo of a congregation of women holding canes to "flog their spiritual husbands."
In Africa, the institution of marriage is highly valued and a lot of pressure is put on women to find a husband. This is the main reason why many women travel extra miles to "secure" their husbands in order to be respected in society.
A photo that is currently circulating on the Internet has shown what appears to be a church congregation filled with women holding canes and praying earnestly while a woman presumed to be the leader / pastor recommends it.

According to Facebook user, Nwobi Zuby Kingsely, who shared the photo, the women used these canes to flog their spiritual husbands preventing them from getting married.

While these ladies embarked on the spiritual battle, this Nigerian lady decided to take her to social media to influence the status of her relationship. The lady identified on Twitter when Simisola revealed that she was looking for a husband.
The 20-year-old lady gave a brief biography of herself after indicating her interest in a man. These details essentially reflected the fact that she had what it took to get married and for her, she really intended to be settled by 2022.
