Homosexuals are cursed by God and whoever surrounds them will also be cursed, said Prophetic Hill Church founder and head, Prophet Nigel Gaisie said.
According to him, homosexuality is a sin against God and should not be accepted by any leader in Ghana.
He made the comments during a personality interview on Starr Chat on Wednesday. He added that while gay rights should be respected, their actions should not be accepted or legalized.
“I made a prophecy about LGBTQI in December that by February it will become a national problem. The registers are there, we can check. Anyone who is homosexual is cursed by God and those around you are cursed by God as well. This is how serious it is. Heaven is against and the good book is also against, ”the popular prophet told Nana Aba Anamoah.
He added that “it will not be in our time that we legalize homosexuality”.
His comments come days after police in Obomeng, a suburb of Kwahu, in the eastern region, arrested Ghanaian lesbians who gathered to hold a wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony according to information gathered by Starrfm.com.gh took place in a rented house at dawn, however, the ceremony was halted after a team of police and traditional authorities stormed them. places and arrested them.
The police were, however, forced to give bail to the suspected lesbians due to the unavailability of a female cell at the police station.
