Hong Kong suspension: residents and lawmakers react

The controversial extradition law proposals have been suspended, said Carrie Lam, executive director of Hong Kong.

Some critics are unhappy with the decision, calling for a complete withdrawal, not a suspension of the law.

This decision follows mbadive demonstrations in the city and a previous refusal to suspend the bill that would have allowed extradition to mainland China.
