Ariana Grande is the cutting Sweetener turned with a sentimental note.
The singer began her tour in Albany, New York on Monday night, and she has just stopped the number one as she heads around the world to perform her songs at the top of the charts. Moments before the show at the Times Union Center, many Arianators shared on social media that some Mac Miller songs played in the background while fans were looking forward to it.
The 25-year-old has paid tribute to her ex-boyfriend several times since her sudden and tragic death on Sept. 7 at the age of 26 as a result of a mixed drug addiction. For example, about two months after her death, she concealed a tattoo belonging to her ex-fiancé. Pete Davidson with one on Miller. The ink on his foot was changed from "8418", which was the FDNY badge number of Davidson's father, to a number dedicated to the rapper's dog named Myron.
She even had a new ink on the eve of her big show and explained that she was not hiding another tattoo related to Davidson, but that she was rather "just an evolutionary woman".
One of his most open and vulnerable tributes to his ex was in his single "Thank U, Next", which later became the title of his latest album. She sings in the first verse of the song, "Even almost married / And for Pete, I'm so grateful / I'd like to say," thanks "to Malcolm / Because he was an angel."
Many of his fans think that a lot of his songs allude to Miller and their relationship, including "Imagine".
The artist of the "7 Rings" won her first Grammy Award this year, although she did not attend the show. However, she always dressed in a beautiful baby blue Zac Posen dress that made it look like something straight out of Cinderella. And that's exactly the point.
Miller had a song called "Cinderella" and she seems to be referring to some of those lyrics in some of her own songs on Sweetener.

The rapper "Self Care" was nominated posthumously for his first Grammy this year for the best rap album, although he lost to Cardi B. Grande did not seem happy about this on social networks.
Great tweeted and subsequently deleted a number of tweets, including those that said "f – k" and "literal bull – t". She went on to say that the tweets did not concern Cardi, but much more, that Miller's mother Karen Meyers stole for the awards show.
She wrote: "THEY HAVE INVITED HER PARENTS OUT NO."
"It's not at all and it's not what I meant and you know it," another tweet said.
Cardi even took a moment to congratulate Miller in a video after winning the grand prize. "I share this Grammy with you, mother – ker !!!" she exclaimed in the post.
Later in the night, the Florida native posted a video of her sleeping next to Myron while wearing her princess dress.
"I'm your little, very emotional, Italian, and now an award-winning friend, I'm super tarnished, lol," said Grande. "But thankful, thank you for everything, Myron is in my arms and he's saying hello to me too."
Knowing Great and his penchant for paying tribute to Miller, it will surely not be the last we heard about his music during his tour. After all, it's only the beginning of a multi-month stay around the world.
Congratulations on launching your grand tour, Ariana!
