Barcelona's transfer policy is focused on planning for life after Lionel Messi – but club president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists that the Argentine legend is retiring "in a while".
Messi, 31, is the talisman of Barcelona, scoring 581 goals for the Spanish giants, winning 10 Liga titles and four leagues of champions in a successful career at Camp Nou.
The Argentine striker has remained in the group, although he has already been linked to Chelsea and Manchester City, and he seems more and more likely to stay at Barca until the end of his professional career.
