A hot air balloon made an unplanned landing on Wednesday morning on Route 28 in Andover, near the ramp leading to I-93, on a small median in the middle of the traffic. The balloon flight took off from the Stevens – Coolidge Place, a museum located about six kilometers to North Andover, as part of a larger exhibition on Mbadachusetts landscapes. But while the plan could have been an artistic installation … it is clear that the reality was a little closer to a traffic violation. Artistic writer Jared Bowen was in the ball.
