The prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara, General Evangelist of the Apostolic Church of Christ (CAC), said the postponement of the 2019 presidential election was a divine intervention.
Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, should not be blamed, he said.
He added that the president of INEC was not God and that Nigerians had to consider the situation as an act of God.
Prophet, Abiara, called on Nigerians to come and vote on February 23.
He said; "Nigerians must thank God Almighty for this situation because God owns Nigeria and God knows about the cancellation of these elections.
"It's so sad that many people from different parts of Nigeria have come to vote in their different states. They will be disappointed by the postponement.
"But Nigerians have to thank God for avoiding a series of diabolical ploys regarding the elections by postponing
"The president of the INEC is not God, he must apologize to Nigerians. We, the Nigerians, must not blame him either, because it is the intervention of God. "
