Match officials are responsible for ensuring the safety of competitors and helping to sell the match with their maximum points and gestures.
In short, they are an integral part of the fight and their performance is often just as important as the superstars themselves.
Therefore, it is now surprising that there is apparently a tasty paycheck for those who are at the top of the industry.

According to Crunchy Sport, a top professional referee tends to be on the following terms:
- $ 250,000 annual lump sum salary
- USD 10,000 per PPV match
- $ 3000 per regular game
- Duration of the five-year contract
Chad Patton, Charles Robinson, John Cone and Mike Chioda, WWE officials, should be rewarded with these terms.

For newcomers to WWE, they have signed an initial recruit contract, the terms of which would be:
- $ 80,000 annual lump sum salary
- $ 4000 per PPV match
- $ 800 per regular game
- Duration of the two-year contract
New WWE officials such as Darrick Moore, Danilo Anfibio, Ryan Tran and Rod Zapata would be on these terms.
Although these salaries are generous, they are well below what the superstars themselves earn.

At the top of the company, annual salaries of $ 12 million and $ 8.5 million are paid to Brock Lesnar and John Cena respectively.
