Flip or Flop returns for a brand new season on August 1st. The show, premiered in 2013, starred Tarek El Moussa and his wife Christina El Moussa (now Christina Anstead). And this has kicked off a series of home-run programs on HGTV. These days, it seems like there is a Flip or Flop for almost every city in the country.
There were four "Flip or Flop" spinoffs
Up to now, there have been at least four direct spin-offs of Flip or Flop. Things started in 2017 with Flip or Flop Vegas, Flip or Flop Atlanta, and Flip or Flop Fort Worth. Flip or Flop Nashville arrived in 2018.
While Flip or Flop Fort Worth It only lasted one season, the other Flip or Flop the benefits have been more successful. Season 3 of Flip or Flop Vegas, which stars Bristol and Aubrey Marunde, aired this spring while season 2 of Flip or Flop Nashville with DeRon Jenkins and Page Turner, formerly turned into business partners created in January 2019. New episodes of Flip or Flop Atlanta Ken and Anita Corsini were last aired in 2018. Although it is not yet known whether any of these shows would be on television, it is likely that viewers will see new episodes of all or some of these emissions in the near future.
HGTV also seemed to plan a Flip or Flop fallout that would be put in Chicago, but apart from a single episode, the show – renamed Chicago's pinball – never materialized.
Christina on the Coast and Flipping 101
In addition to new Flip or Flop franchises in other cities, the stars of the show have also diversified. First came Flip or Flop Tracking, where Tarek and Christina reviewed some of their most memorable reversals.
Then, in 2019, Christina – now divorced from Tarek and married with a baby on the way – had her own show, Christina on the coast. The show follows her new life with her husband Ant Anstead and her burgeoning design company.
Not to be outdone, his ex Tarek has also won his own show. Flip 101 with Tarek El Moussa will feature the real estate expert as he coaches the potential pinball machines and teaches them the secrets to the successful flipping of a home. The series of 14 episodes will be premiered in 2020.
Other HGTV shows
Outside of the Flip or Flop franchise, HGTV has several other house rollover shows. Flippers of the desert follows Eric and Lindsey Bennett, a couple returning home to Palm Springs, California. Reversal of virgins with Egypt, Sherrod followed for the first time palms while they were trying to commit a murder in real estate. In 2018, Flip All-Star Narrated the efforts of NBA star Dwayne Wade and actress Gabrielle Union. Among the other emissions of house flipping on the network, we find Beach Flip, Flip Block, My Family Flip, Flip Vintage, and Masters of Flip.
A new season of Flip or Flop will air on Thursday, August 1 at 9 am / 8c on the HGTV channel.
