UEFA has released the details of the distribution of the UEFA Europa League 2019/20 clubs' revenue and the 2019 UEFA Super Cup, as well as solidarity payments for the phases of the UEFA Europa League qualification.

The gross commercial revenues of the UEFA Champions League 2019/20, UEFA Europa League 2019/20 and 2019 UEFA Super Cup are estimated at around 3.25 billion euros.

Of an estimated gross amount of 3.25 billion euros, 295 million euros will be deducted to cover organizational / administrative costs related to competitions and 7% (227.5 million euros) will be reserved for solidarity payments. Of the € 2.7 billion in net revenue, 6.5% will be reserved for European football and will remain with UEFA, and the remaining 93.5% will be distributed to participating clubs.

On the basis of the income forecasts and allocations defined above, the total amount available for distribution to participating clubs in 2019/20 amounts to 2.55 billion euros, of which 2.04 billion will be distributed to clubs participating in the UEFA Champions League and Super UEFA tournaments. 510 million euros will be distributed to clubs participating in the UEFA Europa League. In addition, the contributions from the UEFA Champions League clubs will be as follows:

• 50 million euros at the share of the UEFA Europa League clubs
• € 10 million to fund solidarity payments to clubs eliminated in the qualifying phase of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League 2019/20.

Estimated amounts (total € 560 million)

The net amount available to participating clubs will be divided into four different pillars:
• 25% will be allocated to departure costs (€ 140m).
• 30% will be allocated to fixed amounts related to performance (€ 168m).
• 15% will be allocated on the basis of the ranking of performance coefficients over ten years (€ 84 million).
• 30% will be allocated to variable amounts (market pool) (€ 168 million).

Departure costs (140 M €)
Each of the 48 clubs qualified for the group phase can expect to receive a group allocation of € 2.92 million, divided into a deposit of € 2.75 million and a balance payment of € 170,000. .

Fixed amounts (€ 168 million)
Performance bonuses for the group stage will be paid for each match: € 570,000 per win and € 190,000 per draw. Undistributed amounts (€ 190,000 per draw) will be pooled and redistributed among the clubs participating in the group stage according to the number of victories.

Group winners can expect to receive a qualifying bonus of € 1 million each and the other € 500,000 each.

Qualifying clubs for the round of 16 may expect to receive the following amounts:
• qualification for the 32 round; 500 000 € each
• qualifying for the round of 16: € 1.1 million each
• qualification for the quarter-finals: € 1.5 million each
• qualification for the semi-finals: € 2.4 million each
• qualification for the final: € 4.5 million each
• The winners of the UEFA Europa League can hope to reap an additional 4 million euros.

Clbadification of coefficients (€ 84m)
A new ranking was introduced last season based on performance over a ten year period. On the basis of the new decennial clbadification, a clbadification table was established and the total amount of 84 million euros was divided into "coefficient shares", each worth 71,430 euros. The lowest-ranked team will receive one action (€ 71,430). One share will be added to each rank and the highest ranked team will receive 48 shares (€ 3.42 million).

Market pool (€ 168m)
The estimated available amount of 168 million euros will be allocated according to the proportional value of each television market represented by the clubs participating in the UEFA Europa League (from the group stage). The different market shares will be divided among the participating clubs of a given badociation.

The various amounts distributed from the market pool, club by club, depend on five factors:

1) the actual final amount in the market pool
2) the composition of the number of clubs participating in the UEFA Europa League 2019/20
3) the number of clubs of a given badociation participating in the UEFA Europa League 2019/20
4) the results of each club participating in the national competitions of the previous season
5) the performance of each club in the UEFA Europa League 2019/20

Solidarity payments

Solidarity payments for the qualification phase of UEFA club competitions

In the new distribution system, 107.5 million euros will be distributed to clubs as follows:

UEFA Europa League – champions and main roads
Each club participating in the qualifying rounds will receive the following amounts per round played:
• preliminary round – € 220,000
• first qualifying round – € 240,000
• second qualifying round – € 260,000
• third qualifying round – € 280,000
• play-offs – € 300,000 (clubs eliminated only). No solidarity payment will be paid to the winners of this round. However, they will keep the payments received for the preliminary, first, second and third qualifying rounds, if applicable.

Solidarity payments to clubs that are not qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League

Solidarity payments to non-participating clubs via their national badociations will represent 4% of the total gross revenue of both competitions.

A total estimated amount of € 130 million will be distributed to national badociations for their clubs.
