Do you still use a YouTube name that you chose in high school and that is decidedly embarrbading in adulthood? Or have your interests changed and are you posting and posting different types of media that do not match your current YouTube name?

No problem, just change the name of YouTube and continue. YouTube makes it easy to change your username and the process takes less than a minute.

Just note that you can only change your YouTube name three times in a 90-day period. Be sure of change before continuing.

How to change your YouTube name

1. Go to YouTube and make sure you are signed in to your account.

2 Click on the icon of your account in the upper right corner of the screen (this will be an image you have chosen or a circle with a letter).

3 Tap "Settings" from the drop-down menu that appears.

4 On the next page, you will see your current name on YouTube. Click on the words "Edit on Google" next to your name.

5 Replace your current name with the new name you chose, and click "OK".

And now, you now have a new YouTube user name. Your new Youtube name will appear on your YouTube channel, all the videos you post on the platform and any comments you make on other videos.
