New episodes of “Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba)” will begin airing this Sunday, October 10.
While these episodes aren’t officially season two – they’re a seven-part adaptation of the hit movie “Mugen Train” – they’re still new bonus episodes airing on a Funimation account near you.
And while many of you may roll your eyes and pretend to ‘get by’, you wouldn’t want to seriously think Funimation would only give you a cut out version of “Mugen Train”, right?
Because that’s not what these bonus episodes are: they actually come with 70 new scenes that weren’t even included in the movie, including one involving the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, embarking on a mission before he left. ‘he does not set foot in this train. There will also be some brand new music tracks to listen to (and imagine killing demons).
And the best part of it all? As soon as this ‘Mugen Train Arc’ ends, the official second season, ‘The Entertainment District Arc’, will begin. The premiere date for this is Sunday December 5th.
Also, it’s been a full two years since the first season of “Demon Slayer”, leaving fans hungry for any new content they can feast on. Getting ready for the second season of the anime with additional episodes is the perfect time to prepare for what will undoubtedly be an adventure packed with action and emotion.
