Huddersfield, Jonathan Hogg, seems shot down after his team was relegated to the English Premier League after losing to Crystal Palace.
What seems to be a gloomy start to the English Premier League is far from being for Huddersfield.
His fate is sealed with six games to play after his 2-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday (New Zealand time), Huddersfield tied the record for the first relegation. Derby was also relegated in March 2008 after 32 games.
Chris Wood's Burnley, captain of the Whites team, put an end to a four-game losing streak, beating Wolverhampton to bolster his survival offer. Wood had a hand in the goal, his shot from a narrow angle hitting the post before entering the Wolves' camp, Captain Conor Coady.
Coady's third goal of the season and Dwight McNeil's strike secured the 2-0 win, leaving Burnley five points and a spot above Cardiff in the points zone. Cardiff has two games in hand and hosts sixth place in Chelsea on Monday (local time).

Even after breaking his transfer record three times in his first Premier League summer transfer slot, Huddersfield still netted £ 30 million (NZD 57,529,953) in profit at the end of the season.
Huddersfield played in a league where Manchester City ambaded a team worth $ 1.6 billion (3.64,264.208 NZD), according to the CIES Football Observatory.
City's title defense and four-man bid remain unchanged with a 2-0 victory over Fulham, who could follow Huddersfield by being relegated in the coming week.
Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero scored to take City back to first place. City has a point over Liverpool, which hosts Tottenham, third on Sunday (Monday NZT), but will have played one more game than defending champion Pep Guardiola.
Manchester United had a hard-fought performance by beating Watford 2 to 1 in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first match since he was appointed to the post of director of Old Trafford on a permanent basis.
LEARN FROM FAILURE
The end of Huddersfield's trip arrived at the venue of his first Premier League match, a 3-0 victory over Palace in August 2017.
Luka Milivojevic's penalty in the 76th minute and Patrick van Aanholt's goal secured the Palace's 2-0 victory over the visit to Selhurst Park. With Burnley and Southampton winning, Huddersfield's relegation is confirmed.
Huddersfield has only scored 18 times in 32 games and conceded 52 times, scoring just 14 points.
United Rises
In a bad match at Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial's goals allowed United to overtake Arsenal in fourth and last place in the Champions League.
Solskjaer, a former United striker, was named permanent club director on Friday (NZT), after replacing fired interim Jose Mourinho in December. Under the Norwegian coach, United has lost only once in 14 league games.
LEICESTER MOURNS
While Brendan Rodgers celebrated a third win in four games at the start of his reign under Leicester, the 2-0 win over Bournemouth also offered a dark background.
In the 61st minute, Leicester fans applauded the memory of former president Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who would have celebrated his 61st birthday in the coming days.
Vichai died, along with four other people, in a helicopter crash just outside King Power Stadium in October.
Wes Morgan and Jamie Vardy scored for Leicester, who is eighth in the league that he won so unexpectedly in 2016. Bournemouth is 12th.
RARE LONDON WIN FOR TOFFEES
Everton won his first London success since January 2017, beating West Ham 2-0 at the London Stadium.
Kurt Zouma was heading from the corner of Gylfi Sigurdsson in the fifth minute and Zouma made the center of Seamus Coleman's center in the 33rd.
