Liverpool defender Andy Robertson praised Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi as reported on Football London.
The two men clashed at Anfield last Sunday in the Premier League, while Robertson managed to keep Hudson-Odoi rather quiet.
The boss of Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri, is now showing great confidence in the teenager, strongly linked to his remoteness from London.
Robertson said:
I knew about him before, we talked a lot about him. He was linked to Bayern Munich and made his debut in England. I'm sure he has a fantastic career ahead of him, he's only young.
It's best not to put too much pressure on him as he can be a great player. I managed to keep him quiet, which is good for me because I know how creative and talented he can be.
I was just happy to see the back of him when he was kidnapped. But I'm sure he will move on to great things.
Chelsea fans have been pleased with Hudson-Odoi's contribution over the last few weeks and he is becoming a regular starter.
