Hugo Lloris was impressed by the progress of Arsenal under Unai Emery.

Hugo Lloris said the Sunday derby in North London against Arsenal was "more than a match" for Tottenham.

The Spurs will travel to the UAE on a record note after keeping their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League, led by a 1-0 win over Inter Milan at Wembley.

Arsenal have won eight and drawn in their last 11 league games under Unai Emery. Lloris admits to having been impressed by how the Gunners adapted to life after Arsene Wenger.

"We know it's more than a game for both clubs and for both [sets of] fans, "said Lloris.

"We now have time to recover and prepare ourselves as best we can, but you play more pbadionately and pbadionately with this type of game.

"We are building our season step by step," said Lloris. "The main goal is to keep our place in the top four.

"You have to accept the context, there is still a season [of being] homeless. We have to face Wembley [for] another season. We do not know until when.

"It takes a lot of energy but we are ready to take care of it, we have no choice.

"We'll see where we'll be in the second half of the season, whether we still have a chance or not.

"But for me, Liverpool and Man City are the favorites of the title.

"We'll see, because a lot of things can happen, especially during Boxing Day, many teams lose chances and points."
