Hundreds of people have tried to be tested for TB in Wales following an outbreak of Victoria Disease.
Approximately 80 people were invited to seek treatment because they were known at the Joiners Arms in Llanelli, a home-related pub.
They had been identified as the "contacts" of one of the confirmed TB cases.
Wales Public Health has confirmed that there have been 29 known cases of tuberculosis in the Llwynhendy area in Llanelli since 2010, with one death in 2018.
Margaret Pegler, 64, died just five days after learning that she had the disease last September.
Public screenings began Tuesday and take place in pickup trucks in front of the Scarlets pub and rugby stadium.
Simon Alan de Llwynhendy was among those in line today at the Joiners Arms.
He added that people were turned away and were invited to visit their general practitioners because more than 80 people were lining up.
He said, "It was the night there. We circled the pub for about an hour trying to find a place to park.
"There were people lining up outside in the rain for hours before being turned away at the end.
"We queued for a very long time and were not even able to get tested and told to go see our general practitioner instead.
"We were talking to people in the waiting line who had come from Ammanford but who wanted to be controlled for their peace of mind, but we should have given more priority to the fact that we were drinking at the same time. pub almost every week and that we could not even be tested in the end.
He added, "In the end, we saw so many people give up after getting enough queuing and if they did not give up, they were fired, it was chaos."
The patients would also have been under tremendous pressure to be seen at Scarlets Stadium and Llwynhendy Surgery.
Tuberculosis is a bacterial infection transmitted by the inhalation of tiny droplets from coughs or sneezes from an infected person.
The disease is usually found in the lungs, but it can affect other parts of the body.
The most common symptom of tuberculosis is a persistent cough lasting more than three weeks, with a blood vessel sometimes stained with blood.
Weight loss, high temperature and sweating, especially at night, can be other symptoms.
