Jane the Virgin spin off Jane the Novela just found his male lead.
Weeds the actor Hunter Parrish should play alongside Jacqueline Grace Lopez in the upcoming show (via Deadline).
Parrish will play Felix, a rich son who is co-owner of a vineyard with his mother Renata.

The show is described as a series of anthologies of telenovela in which each season is based on a different fictional novel written by Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) and narrated by the author herself.

Rodriguez has already mentioned the spin-off and called it "fantastic".
"The pilot is amazing," she said at the time. "We hope to be able to give something as big as we have done with Jane the Virgin. "
