Barcelona suffered a 2-0 away defeat against Sevilla in their Copa Del Rey semi-final clash on Wednesday.
Kevin-Prince Boateng was added to the game after only one training session with Barcelona and he spent 63 minutes against Sevilla.
The goals of Pablo Sarabia and Wissam Ben Yedder allowed Sevilla to win 2-0 at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Pablo Sarabia opened the scoring of the center of Quincy Promes to put the Los Rojiblancos at the controls.
And Wissam Ben Yedder slipped to the last post after deflected shot from Ever Banega to double his lead.
Boateng, 31, expressed his feelings after the defeat of Barca in his debut.
"My debut was a special feeling, but I am angry and sad for the result," Boateng told reporters.
