Giovanni Caleb was the host of Starr Drive on Starr FM
Radio personality Giovanni Caleb said he was "happily unemployed" despite the news linking him to TV3's 3FM.
He informed Abeiku Santana in response to a question of whether he was willing to work for Yet, the owner of Okay FM, Hello FM, and Peace FM, among others.
This comes as a shock because the bubbly personality of the radio and television was linked to a switch to TV3 a few weeks ago.
It is not clear why the broadcaster will say he is unemployed.
Giovanni left the EIB network a few weeks ago after spending many years on Starr Drive and Duvet on GHOne TV.
Giovani Caleb, whose separation with the EIB began as a rumor, was then confirmed by himself after thanking the viewers and listeners of Duvet and the Drive. He also thanked the EIB network and its managing director, Bola Ray, for this opportunity.
The reasons for this change are poorly known, but according to some sources, Mr Giovani, who has seen his career flourish since his arrival at the EIB network led by Bola Ray three years ago, has seen propose a tantalizing deal for the construction of their brand radio station in addition to the heavyweights already there, including Kwakye Afreh Nuamah, Johnny Hughes, Winston Amoah, Grace Asare, Komla Klutse, among others.
Versatile radio and television personalities, according to alleged sources, are expected to begin on February 4, 2019, but it seems that the move has hit hard for reasons that have not yet been revealed.
