Jessica Opare Saforo, an award-winning radio and TV personality, joined the long list of celebrities to talk about the deaths of Takoradi's three daughters.

In a tweet, the media personality said he did not understand why the director general of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Maama Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, is still in office.

Jessica Opare clearly requests the immediate dismissal of the CID leader for misleading the public about the location of the abducted girls.

The presenter also sent her condolences to the families of the three girls.

She tweeted; "It's just heartbreaking. For my life, I just can not understand how Boss CID is still in office. My sincere condolences to the families of these girls. #TiwaaMustGo #BringBackOurTaadiGirls ".

This follows a press conference held a few months ago by the head of the CID, who had revealed to have information on the location of abducted girls, adding that they were safe.

Police quickly revealed that human remains had been found in a septic tank near the suspect, presumably that of the girls.

A DNA test was carried out and on Monday, September 17, 2019, the Inspector General of Police confirmed the deaths of girls by saying that the bodies found in the septic tank were those of Takoradi girls.

This sparked outrage from social media and led to a hashtag trend on Twitter #TiwaaMustGo calling for the immediate dismissal of CID Boss for misleading the public.
