Experienced coach Sellas Tetteh vehemently refuted reports that he is about to join Bechem United.
The name of the former coach of the Rwandan and Sierra Leonean national team began circulating in the media on Tuesday as talks advanced to the resumption of the technical team of the Ghana Premier League.
But Tetteh, famous for leading Ghana to the U-20 World Cup under 20, told Otec FM: "It's never true that I signed for or if I'm in talks with Bechem United "
The 62-year-old would have coached the hunters at their camp camp in Accra, but said he was only contacted for leading the Bechem United U17 team. on an invitation to the United States.
"I've been called by Agama (owner of Bechem United), a good friend of mine, to help manage their under-17 team for a tournament in the United States."
Sellas Tetteh has been coaching the second division team of Tamale City over the last year and remains in office.
"As I speak, I am in Tamale and I am doing my duties as head coach for Tamale City."
Sellas is expected to head Tamale City FC, formerly known as Guan United, in the GFA Standards Committee's special competition scheduled to kick off this weekend.
