The murder suspect of the MP for Abuakwa North confessed to the murder of the legislator, but wishes his family to forgive him.

Mr. Danquah-Adu was murdered on February 9, 2016 in Shiashie, near Accra, in his residence.
Prosecutors charged Asiedu and Bosso with conspiracy to commit robbery, while Asiedu was indicted separately for murder and robbery.
While the district court finds a case against both of them to answer and commits them to trial, the state will try Asiedu and Bosso for the second time after the Attorney General filed a prosequi nose on May 29, 2017 to put end at the first trial. .
Yesterday, during the referral process, the prosecutor, Ms. Sefakor Batse, senior prosecutor, told the court that the state would call 11 witnesses and also rely on 29 exhibits to prove her case. before the High Court.
The trial is scheduled to open in the High Court of Accra on March 11, 2019.

According to the facts of the case as presented by Ms. Batse, Mr. Danquah-Adu was living with his family in a one-storey house in Shiashie, near East Legon, in the suburbs of Accra. , while Asiedu and Bosso lived in Agbogbloshie, also in Accra.
She added that Asiedu and Bosso were planning to embark on a series of robberies after being armed with a screwdriver, scissors, a catapult and a gun. 39, a knife.
The two men, she said, left their base on February 8, 2016 to commit the robbery, but due to a misunderstanding as to which house to steal, Bosso was separated from them. Asiedu and went home.
Ms. Batse said that Asiedu then boarded a car bound for Shiashie, discovered the area and chose Mr. Danquah-Adu's home.
The member, she added, returned from work around 11 pm and went to bed.
"Asiedu entered the house around 1 am climbing the wall. He then used a ladder to climb to the porch of the MP's room and entered it through a window, "she said.
The prosecutor further stated that Asiedu had started to search the room but that the noise had awakened the MP who had fought against Asiedu.
"Asiedu stabbed the MP at the back of his neck and chest, which caused him to collapse, and he removed three mobile phones belonging to the MP," she added.
