The late Ebony and his father, Nana Kwarteng
When Ebony died, his father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, became the first point of call for the media, not only because he was his father, but also because he had supported his wife unreservedly.
However, at one point, his numerous interviews and his public quarrel with his former director, Bullet, began to irritate many Ghanaians who had the impression to make known at death the death of his daughter.
This is how the nickname Starboy Kwarteng was born. Some people hinted that he wanted so much to become a star.
The Showbiz recently met Nana Opoku Kwarteng and asked him if he accepted the nickname, but he officially accepted the name.
"Oh, I agree with the name. I think it is something that I like. The word star alone is something that we would like to badociate with, it's good for me.
"Again, you can not fight the media or anyone else; if they want to call you by name, they will do it whatever you do. In this life, the more you tell people that you do not want something, the more they do it, so it suits me, I accept it, "he said.
In this interview, Nana Opoku Kwarteng revealed that he hated the date of February 8 because of his daughter whom he affectionately called Ohemaa.
"I do not like this day and date at all, I wish it did not even exist. This is the day this tragedy occurred. My daughter, Ohemaa, lost her life and it's sad.
"Honestly, but ideally, we're supposed to celebrate one year on that fateful day, I do not see anything worth celebrating and it's not written anywhere that we have to do it the same day" , did he declare.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng said he would do something in memory of his daughter.
"The real thing will happen March 31
