Each person has core values that they would like to stick to, but sometimes you have to change direction when the situation becomes difficult.

This situation is no different from that of MTN Ghana's president and CEO, Selorm Adadevoh, who refused a bonus of $ 150,000 because he wanted to defend his integrity, which is one of his values in life.

According to him, "Last year, I lost a bonus of $ 150,000 because what I had to do did not match my value. I left my job in Haiti because I could not take this money from anyone. It did not correspond to my value, not an alternative.

Recalling the number of times he has been through a difficult situation that could lead him to become a millionaire or more prosperous in life, he said, "Integrity is the value that drove me to quit my job. It was expensive and it was not my first time. It happened three times in my life when I was not a millionaire or something else, but because of my values, I stayed broke and today I am the happiest person in the world because I have no weight. "

Speaking to stakeholders at the MTN Summit in Accra, he said that people's values are at stake in the workplace or wherever they are, but that it is up to them to defend their values and boldly decide whether they want it or not. to be for her.

Noting that "worthless success is not success, and if you really want to succeed in life, you need your values to be what defines your limit".

Recognizing that young people are energetic and corruptible, he urged them to adjust to their core values to become better people in the future without any "weight" on their shoulders.
