The commander responsible for the SWAT team for national security, Deputy Police Superintendent (DSP) Samuel Kojo Azugu, said the national security agents at the Ayawaso West by-election Wuogon had not acted professionally.
According to him, the officers reacted in the same way that they treated some civilians during the shooting in the by-election.
"They did not handle them (civilians) in a professional manner," Azugu DSP told the investigating committee of Judge Emile Short on Monday, February 18, 2019 in Accra.
He said that when he watched a video in which the dress of a civilian was stained with blood, he said "wow".
"When I saw the blood in that gentleman's t-shirt, I said wow."
