Actress Beverly Afaglo Baah says that she wears her wedding ring only on special occasions.
Speaking of Behind the Celebrity on Joy FM on February 11, the actress said that she did not like the ring mark on her finger every time she had to remove it to act.
The wife of the famous choirmaster of Praye told Lexis Bill: "It gave me different colors on the finger and I did not like what I saw in my last film, Brown sugar.
"I take the ring in special places now, like weddings," she added.
She challenged rumors that she and her husband would no longer be together: "Everyone knows we're married, I'm surprised people think we're not together."
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz in 2018, Beverly Afaglo said that being a submissive woman had been the secret of the success of her marriage.
According to her, she recognizes her husband as the head of the family and gives him this respect despite being a star actress.
The celebrity couple was married in April 2012 and has two children together.
Beverly Afaglo told Lexis that her husband did not wear his ring either, "he lost it while playing football".
"We are working to get another one," she added.
The actress however stated that her husband, if he had his ring, could remove it at any time, this does not make them any less married than they are already.
