Jm declares Former President, John Dramani Mahama

Former President John Mahama said that he would work day and night to bring the main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to victory in the 2020 general election, when he was in power. He is elected flag bearer of the party, Saturday, February 23, 2019.

In a short video posted on his Facebook wall, Mr. Mahama said, "When you vote for John Mahama, I will fight and work with you day and night to ensure our victory and address the problems of unemployment and the cost of high life in the country ".

He continued: "Together, we will present to our compatriots, men and women, a renewed and invigorated CND, a party ready and able to drive Ghana beyond the unprecedented economic hardships of today, growing unemployment and desperation of our young people, after the closure and collapse of financial institutions and businesses, beyond the dishonesty and nonchalance of the current administration, and the syndrome of family and clan that has to just shocked and outraged so many people. "

Mr. Mahama challenges six other candidates for the slot. They include Mr. Alban Bagbin, Mr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Mr. Sylvester Mensah, Professor Joshua Alabi, Mr. Nurudeen Iddrisu and Mr. Goosie Tanoh.
