Former President John Mahama
Former President John Dramani Mahama called on delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NEC) to vote overwhelmingly for him before the National Congress of Delegates on Saturday, Feb. 23, to head the NEC in the 2020 elections.
According to him, a vote for John Mahama will not be lost, but will work day and night to fight against the power of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in power.
In a short video shared on social media, he said, "Vote for me, John Mahama, on Saturday, February 23, 2019 and I will lead the CND, working day and night with you, to win the 2020 elections. will present to our compatriots a renewed and reinvigorated CND. "
He continued: "Together, we will present to our compatriots, men and women, a renewed and invigorated CND, a party ready and able to drive Ghana beyond the unprecedented economic hardships of today, growing unemployment and desperation of our young people, after the closure and collapse of financial institutions and businesses, beyond the dishonesty and nonchalance of the current administration, and the syndrome of family and clan that has to just shocked and outraged so many people.
