So anyone who goes to Ningo Prampram on Saturday to watch or cover the elections and attend my victory is welcome. The primaries take place in 157 constituencies of the country where 524 aspirants were allowed to participate.

The NDC suspended the primaries in the districts of Asawase, Ellembelle, Fanteakwa North, Mpohor and Yilo Krobo.

In addition, there will be no elections in 39 other constituencies where incumbent members or candidates aspire without opposition.

Six aspiring primaries were disqualified a few days before the election.

In the Greater Accra region elections will be held in 31 of the 34 constituencies.
