Tanitoluwa, who lives with her parents in a homeless shelter in the United States, reportedly fled Nigeria because of Boko Haram attacks in their hometown.

Interestingly, his chess skills earned him the recognition of former US President Bill Clinton.

Clinton revealed that he was very impressed by the story of Tanitoluwa and would like to meet him from time to time.

In an interview with Newsday, the little boy talked about his life as a chess player and what he wants to accomplish as a talented player.

The eight-year-old explained that he was prepared for the game by practicing on chess sites. He said that he had been introduced to the game of chess in clbad.

According to the little boy, he loves the game of chess because it's a puzzle game. He also noted that his favorite player of all time is his chess coach.
