Ibrahim Dauda and Nana Appiah Mensah
The young Ghanaian millionaire, Ibrahim Dauda, better known as Ibrah One, has denied rumors claiming that Menzgold's CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, would be on trial in Dubai before being sent to Ghana.
In a series of publications on social networks, Ibrah One, known for his numerous attacks on NAM1, said that there had been lies in the case of Menzgold's CEO, at war.
According to him, the report that NAM 1 would be tried in Dubai on February 2, 2019 was false, because no court in the UAE opens its doors on the weekends because it falls on a Saturday.
Ibrah One then proved with pictures indicating that the Dubai courts were even closed on Fridays; probably because of the fact that they were a Muslim nation and were holding Jumu'ah that day.
Ibrah One has been on the neck of NAM 1 for a very long time. The millionaire noticed a few months ago that the alleged private jet belonging to NAM 1 had been rented.
He also exposed the Menzgold gold trading center, stating that investors were not going to get their funds back because NAM 1 had used it to sign actors and musicians.
NAM 1, however, responded to Ibrah One by posting documents that had bought and paid for the private jet.
In recent times, NAM1 and its gold trading company Menzgold Ghana Limited have taken center stage and have been the subject of much discussion following an order from the Committee on Security and Trade to suspend his activities.
Investors had their money stuck after the order and explored a number of solutions in hopes of getting their money back.
As a result of numerous unrest, the country's security agencies issued an arrest warrant against NAM1 and sent the same notice to Interpol.
However, it appeared that NAM 1 had already been arrested in Dubai in December 2018 as a result of a bad trade agreement and was facing a court case.
However, a delegation was sent by the government to bring NAM1 back to Ghana for trial, for numerous charges against him, including fraud and misrepresentation.
The United Arab Emirates, however, refused to release the CEO of Menzgold, who also serves as CEO of Zylofon Media.
According to the UAE authorities, NAM1 would be released to return home only after being tried in Dubai for a botched gold case.
However, the issue was tainted with politics as the new ruling party (NPP) and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) hit each of the blocked investments.
