This statement is a stark refutation of the CID's earlier announcement that NAM1 was being tried in Dubai.
According to police, Ghana can not have NAM1 now because its case in Dubai was still underway.

The police made this statement when Ghanaians who have millions of cedis locked up in Menzgold protested against the company and the government.
However, Ibrah1 said the police and some Ghanaian authorities were telling lies about the whole issue.
He added that if the authorities did not know the case of NAM1 at all, they should simply "shut up rather than lie to Ghanaians."
Ibrah1 made this statement in a Snapchat post seen by YEN.com.gh.

He wrote: "Some high-ranking people in Ghana who want to inform people with wrong information must respect their position. It's better to be quiet if you have nothing to say than to spread false news. "

According to Kwaku, a Nigerian named Ade Oguntomole is believed to be behind the arrest of NAM1.
He leaked the Oguntomole document and asked the public to monitor it.
Kwaku added that when the Nigerian is arrested, NAM1 will be released.
