The Accra Region Police Service is investigating the Ministry of Education PRO, following a Facebook message regarding rescued Canadian women who were abducted on June 4th.
Vincent Ekow Assifuah is the subject of an investigation for having published on his Facebook diary on Wednesday June 12 that one of the suspects identified as being solely Seidu is a close badociate of a man of 39, business, Ibrahim Mahama.
The police invited him yesterday, following an official complaint filed by Mr. Mahama, who is also the brother of former President John Dramani Mahama.
Police sources close to Ibrahim Mahama revealed to the Herald that he had complained to the Greater Accra Regional Police Command.
He was then summoned by the police, which he forced. At the police station, he asked until Monday to accompany his lawyers to answer their questions. Police sources said he looked grieved, dejected and almost moved to tears.

Bailen Chitty and Lauren Patricia Catherine were reported missing on June 4, 2019, after four men took them to a Toyota Corolla red car at the entrance to their private hotel in Nhyiaeso, Kumasi.

Sammy Gyamfi, director of communications at the National Democratic Congress (NDC), said the Akufo-Addo government had not kept its pre-election promise to make Ghana a safer country following recent kidnappings.

His remarks come after the two Canadian women were saved after being kidnapped last week in Kumasi.
The president of the NDC was also briefly arrested Tuesday by the police, as a suspect in the recent kidnapping case.
The NDC's comments will be seen as a source of insecurity to take advantage of political capital, but the opposition party insists that the ruling party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is also guilty.

We also identified a third suspect, named Sadat Oboe, who spotted a red sweater on the distributed images. He is a motorcycle salesman and a known member of the Delta Nuclear Power Forces in the Asawase constituency. In fact, he is still with Seidu Mba.
A fourth suspect, Safianau Alokere, wore dreadlocks (rasta hair) and limped on one of his legs. Safianu Alokere, is a well-known man from nuclear power plants and a motorcycle mechanic. His condition of lameness was caused by an accident resulting from the leadership of a convoy of then candidate candidate Akufo-Addo during the 2008 election campaign.

The devil will always find work for empty hands and, after using these thugs to win elections, President Akufo-Addo and the NPP have abandoned them to defend themselves. In their quest for survival in these difficult times, the use of kidnappings has become a lucrative business for them.
Indeed, today the world has seen the true character of President Akufo-Addo and the NPP. They reap the fruits of the bad seed that they planted. Their diabolical program against the NDC and its national president has gone terribly against him. We now know who the real kidnappers are and which political party they belong to.
