Ice cream sandwiches recalled from two brands are likely to contain metal particles.

A Canadian dairy cooperative has announced the recall of two types of ice cream sandwiches, fearing that the product may contain metal particles.

An Agropur statement released Friday indicates that the sandwiches were sold in Quebec, Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

The statement states that the Iceberg sandwiches sold in boxes of 8 and the brand Augustin Augustin sold in boxes of 30 are recalled.

It is said that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is overseeing the recall.

Agropur stated that they had not received any complaints about injuries.

The co-op requests that the product be removed from the shelves and customers can return the boxes to stores for a full refund.
