The International Church of the Central Gospel (ICGC) introduced a new method to pay the offering and tithe of the house.

According to an announcement on the official Twitter account of Joy News on Sunday, July 29, 2018, ICGC members who can not go to church on Sundays can pay for their offer via a payment platform bills online, ExpressPay.

Tithes are also accepted using the same mode of shipment

to be physically present to pay tithes or offerings.

Church members can easily send their money through the ExpressPay application to the church bank account. ExpressPay is available on the Web, Android and iOS.

That made people talk on social networks. Some believe that it is a good idea and find nothing wrong with that since we live in the digital age.

Others also criticized the General Supervisor of the Church Pastor Mensa Otabil and all the leadership to run the church as a business to make money instead to win souls.

This is not the first time that the ICGC is making news for issues related to the offer and the money. In July 2017, people condemned the church for creating a price list for special prayer requests.

The church takes full advantage of technological advancement as it also accepts donations via MTN Mobile Money and its official website

. a fair refund policy that allows donors to apply for money within two days of giving.
