Former President John Dramani Mahama
The flag bearer hoping that the biggest opposition, John Dramani Mahama, said that he was more interested in interactive interaction with citizens than by mere paperwork.
John Mahama, in a social media article, said he prefers to work directly with Ghanaians by being inclusive and cooperative.
According to him, it's something "that I like to do, instead of getting stuck in the office," adding that the only time he will likely meet with party officials will be in an interval of two weeks.
Former President John Mahama said he wanted to lead the NDC in the 2020 elections and has since participated in various campaigns to win back the hearts of Ghanaians.
He joins fierce competition from other party supporters, all of whom have expressed interest in leading the party.
The polls, which should take place tomorrow, have Professor Joshua Alabi, Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Alban Bagbin, Goosie Tanoh and Sylvester Mensah, all registered on the ballot.
Mahama's tweet said, "I would like to spend more time in the field and interact with people, which I like to do, instead of getting stuck in the office. I should probably spend some time at the party office every two weeks to continue talking to party officials. #JohnMahama "
