Elba said that there were "really interesting developments in the process" that were not included in the film Digital Spy. But they could make it an original story – that's how Idris could imagine Brixton's return.

"So we can understand what happened to him before that," he said. "Because he is very human, but he has a robotic spirit, but he has a heart.

"And he also has an ego and he's out of control, it would be nice to know where it came from."

Unfortunately, Elba has not been able to explore the entire history of Brixton in the final version of the film. "The scenario is slightly different from the film, some parts of Brixton have been modified for the film, and they are a bit frustrating," Idris admitted.

"It does not matter, because, yes, it is in the plot quite pushed in one direction. [Director] David [Leitch] and I really talked about how we want to take this complex human being – who has already been killed, who has been brought back to life and turned into a robot – and made it a credible villain. "

Hobbs & Shaw can sometimes feel like three disparate movies. Hobbs and Shaw are in a cop cop film, Hattie (Vanessa Kirby) in a survival film and Brixton in a revenge movie.

"It's an interesting observation," says Elba. "It's a brilliant cacophony of things together – the movie does not take itself too seriously."

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw will be published August 1 in the United Kingdom and August 2 in the United States.
