Keep the mouse focuses on a chivalrous mouse order. Elba would represent Celanawe, a legendary mouse warrior long gone. Andy Serkis is on board to play the villain of the movie, a former member of the order who hurts himself calling Midnight.
Keep the mouse will be filmed in motion capture. The Batman director Matt Reeves, who worked with Serkis in a motion capture role on his film War for the Planet of the Apes, will produce.
No release date planned for Keep the mouse has been reported, but production is expected to begin in May.
