Ifan Phillips has signed a new contract with Ospreys which will keep him at Liberty Stadium for the next two seasons.
The 25-year-old whore has been in the area for five years and made her senior debut on the bench in an Anglo-Welsh Cup win over the Wasps in early February 2017.
He has since made 30 appearances for Ospreys, scoring five tries.
“It was an easy decision for me,” said Crymych-born Phillips.
“They are a growing club and it’s exciting to see where we end up in the next few years.”
Phillips, the son of former Wales and Neath captain Kevin, started with his hometown club and played in the Welsh Premiership for Neath RFC before joining Ospreys.
“I didn’t do it the classic way in the Academy, I started with Crymych, I continued to play for Carmarthen Quins and with Neath and was taken over by the Ospreys playing there and I ‘I’m quite proud of it. tough trip, but enjoyed every moment of it.

Phillips, who was named player of the match in the New Years victory over Cardiff Blues excites Head Coach Toby Booth.
“Ifan has shown a very good performance for the region this season,” said Booth.
“His emotional connection to the Ospreys through his father is evident every time he puts on the jersey. These ingredients definitely add to your team on and off the pitch, which is exciting.
