Manufacturers of Sonos and Ikea hi-fi systems are working together. From August, the furniture store will offer a table lamp whose foot will also serve as a Wi-Fi speaker.
Sonos, known for its wireless speakers, teams up with Swedish furniture retailer Ikea. Together, they plan to launch a table lamp under the product name "Symfonisk" whose foot is made up of a Wi-Fi speaker.

The sounding lamp should also be sold in Switzerland, as confirmed by Ikea's local subsidiary at the request of PCtipp, as of August 1st. Swiss prices are not yet fixed. International writes Ikea 173 euros on the price tag of the lamp.
As part of the Symfonisk Series, Ikea will also market a Sonos speaker, which can be screwed to the wall like a bookshelf or discreetly stored in a bookshelf. This sound cabinet should also be available from August and cost a little less than 100 euros.
