Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach CK Akonnor says he is happy at the club and is not worried about constant speculation about his future.
Kotoko has reached the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup and is leading the A zone of the current special competition.
But that did not stop reporting on Akonnor's imminent departure from the media.
Speaking after his team's 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi, Akonnor said the rumors did not bother him.
"I am here [at Kotoko] with a 3 year contract and I am happy. There will come a time when Kotoko will not be happy with me and will ask me to go, that's normal.
"I was once with Ashgold and they were not happy with me and I left. If Kotoko is not happy with me, they will ask me to leave and that's normal. But I do not worry about these rumors [that he will be sacked]. I know I will not be here forever, "he said.
