Former President John Mahama
Former President John Dramani Mahama said he is ready to join his constituency's campaign teams to visit markets and carry out door-to-door campaigns to regain the power of the National Democratic Congress ( CND) in the 2020 general election.
He called on the NDC delegates to give him the green light to lead the party to victory in 2020.
Mr. Mahama said this when he met with delegates and officials from Adaklu constituency in Waya.
He said 2020 was the best time to take over the NPP and asked delegates to take into account his experience and achievements and give him the chance to do more for the country.
Mr. Samuel Dorfe, president of the Adaklu constituency in the NDC, said the constituency would give "all votes" to Mr. Mahama and asked him not to forget Adaklu during his election.
Kwame Agbodza, a member of the region's parliament, said the constituency was targeting 100 percent of Mahama's votes, thus waging "canceled and rejected votes".
In Ho, Mr. Benjamin Kpodo, MP for Ho Central, also ensured mbadive votes for the former president.
