The parliamentary minority is calling for the immediate termination of the PDS concession agreement, described as fraudulent.
According to them, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and Energy Minister Peter Amewu knew the guarantee was fraudulent from the start, but they agreed.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, former deputy energy minister John Jinapor said the president was to be held "responsible for this embarrbading spectacle".
"The finance and energy ministers knew the guarantee was wrong, but they decided not to follow up on the anomaly for reasons better known to them," he added. .
The minority therefore demands the immediate termination of the contract.
"In order to ensure an efficient and sustainable supply of energy, we insist that the government terminate the concession contract with immediate effect"
The government of Ghana announced Tuesday, July 30 at the end of the day, the repeal of the contract with Power Distribution Services just six months after the replacement of the electricity company of Ghana.

He also said that steps were being taken to uncover the details of the case while the government was conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
