In Full: Recent Guernsey Police Statement on Emiliano Sala

Guernsey police issued a new statement regarding their search for a missing plane alleged to have been transported City of Cardiffnew £ 15m striker Emiliano Sala. The full text follows:

The Guernsey Coast Guard was alerted at 2023 by Jersey ATC, reporting that a light aircraft had lost control of its radar about 15 miles north of Guernsey, launching a major search and rescue operation. rescue involving rescue boats St Peter Port and Alderney. The plane left Nantes at 19:15 for Cardiff. The plane was flying at 5,000 feet. The plane at Guernsey Pbad requested a descent. Jersey ATC lost contact while flying at 2300 feet.

Air Search 1 and a French rescue helicopter based in Cherbourg resumed searches in the region at 08:00.
