MANILA, Philippines – Before the opening of the Super Bowl on Monday, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray participated Sunday in the eighth edition of the National Football League in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Philippine-Australian beauty queen said it was her first red carpet for this year. She attended the NFL Honors with her former rival and now her Miss USA roommate Sarah Rose Summers.
Gray wore a long black dress designed by Tadashi Shoji, while she was accented by Vajze's jewelry and wore a Judith Leiber clutch.
She was styled by Marquis Bias and dressed by makeup artist and vlogger Madi Bernard for her red carpet look.
"Finally, kick off the first red carpet in 2019," Gray said in one of his Instagram stories.
The 25-year-old beauty queen said she was delighted to attend the NFL Honors because it was her first time to attend an American sports event.
She said she did not know American football, but she and Summers discussed teams and sports.
"At my first event on the red carpet in 2019, I had a fantastic time learning American football for the first time," Gray said.
NFL Honors is the annual presentation of awards in the NFL. He stands on the eve of the Super Bowl.
The annual awards ceremony rewards the best players, performances and NFL games of the current season.
In February 2016, Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach, also attended the NFL Honors Red Carpet with Miss USA Olivia Jordan.
