Children of the late Agyarko hold hands during a political campaign
Alhaji Sayibu, MP for Tamale North, Alhbadan Suhuyini called the widow of the late Emmanuel Kyerematen Agyarko for exploiting their children in the name of politics, said MyNewsGh.com.
The NDC MP asks the deceased member's soul not to hit the leaders who put children in the forefront of her campaign to replace their father.
Some have called the call for justice for the murdered journalist Ahmed Suale of "politics", but they see nothing wrong with getting "innocent children" in the name of politics.
"So, those of you who believe that calling for justice for Ahmed-Suale do politics, do not see unethical political politics with innocent children ?? What's wrong here? May the soul of the honorable Agyarko not hit those who exploit his children too hard. "He wrote.
"Please, God never let my children suffer that," he added.
Mrs. Lydia Alhbadan, widow of the late Emmanuel Boakye Agyarko, won the primary constituency of Ayawaso West Wuogon from the ruling party, the new ruling patriotic party. She defeated Mrs. Victoria Esinam Ansah Offei; Ms. Yaa Aboagye; Mr. Samuel Amankwah and Mr. Ato Williams.
The seat became vacant following the death of her husband, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, MP for the region, on Wednesday, November 21 of last year.
The NPP has held this position since 2000, succeeding Mr Agyarko to Ms Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, the current chief of staff in January 2013.
Meanwhile, the NDC members elected Mr. Delali Kwasi Brempong to their election. The elections promise to be interesting, but many experts say that Maa Lydia will win without too much obstacles.
