Dr Manish Yadav, Head of Maternal and Child Hospital, said: “We have about 200 children admitted to our hospital for illnesses like fever, tuberculosis, meningitis, gastroenteritis, etc. We have 15 to 20 children who are admitted with a viral fever. , they are recovering well. Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh previously informed that the state government is taking all possible measures to control the viral fever outbreak in the state.
The minister informed that the government has noticed the shortcomings in the work of officials and this is the main reason for the viral epidemic in the city.
Meanwhile, the central government convened a high-level meeting on Saturday on the emerging challenge of dengue serotype 2 cases in 11 states, including Uttar Pradesh. (ANI)
