The wicked stepmother Trope has been going on since humans were able to chop off furious family members on cave walls – but Kate Wright proves that nothing could be further from the truth with her own stepchildren.
The former TOWIE star, who became engaged to Rio Ferdinand earlier this year, alone organized the eighth birthday of her daughter Tia, whom she shared with her school friend, Sydney.
Kate went to work inviting the hordes of friends of the two girls into a huge room decorated with bright pink balloons, huge cut flowers and even an old pink phone booth.
The names of Tia and Sydney were engraved in large letters on the stage, and a table groaning under the weight of several huge birthday cake towers.
The two birthday girls wore matching white ruffle dresses with pretty tall socks and matching shoes, hair styled in a ponytail.
They posed in front of the ulta-rose scene for photos, smiling while they were taking everything before their mates went down to the party.
Star-shaped pink cookies, themed Tia and Sydney, were served to guests, as well as a veritable mountain of pizzas delivered by Dominos.
Kate wrote, "When I cheat … I do not do it in two, a pizza party."
After the chaotic party, Kate thanked her event organizers in an Instagram post.
"What a party, thank you very much to the amazing Brenda of @neribaeventstyling (first pik) that allowed our little girls to realize their dreams! It was more than we could wish for," she said. written.
"Two happy princesses dance all night, thank you very much."
However, there was no sign of Rio at the girls party, and he did not share any pictures on his Instagram.
Kate accepted the role of mother-in-law after meeting Rio several years after the death of his wife, Rebecca Ellison, of bad cancer.
The married couple had sons Lorenz and Tate before she gave birth to Tia in April 2011.
Unfortunately, Rebecca died at the age of 34, just four years after Tia's arrival.
While Rio and her three children are still suffering from her loss, Kate says that becoming a mother-in-law has been extremely rewarding.
"Being a mother is an attitude, not a biological reaction," she wrote earlier this year.
"Who knew love like that existed."
